Interesting Facts About Me

Learning languages has become one of my biggest passions, but it wasn’t always this way. When I was 11 years old and learning English, I didn’t understand why it was important—it was actually my worst subject. Everything changed when I started attending a school with international students. I noticed that they had to learn our language to make friends and follow lessons. That experience opened my eyes to the value of language, and it inspired me to take learning seriously. It took years to become fluent in English, but once I did, I discovered a love for connecting with people through different languages.

Beyond learning languages, I absolutely love traveling. For me, it’s not just about visiting new places—it’s about immersing myself in different cultures, exploring their customs, traditions, food, and ways of life. I prefer traveling at a slow pace, which allows me to truly experience the places I visit and build meaningful connections with the people there. Sometimes, I even stay for months. In Mexico, I’ve had the privilege of living in several cities. In Canada, I spent time on Salt Spring Island and in Montreal, and in France, I lived near Montpellier.

On almost all of these adventures, I’ve had my loyal companion, Max, by my side. Max, my furry guardian angel, adopted me while I was living on the Oaxaca coast. He seems to think I need extra protection because of my adventurous spirit—and he hasn’t quit his job yet!
